I have attended, advanced and photographed many charitable events in my life, but I did not receive help when I needed it.
Why?
Because my health care plan did not conform to conventional medicine’s marketing plan.
Breast cancer awareness month triggers me because I see little done to help anyone with breast cancer.
“We are celebrating breast cancer!” a well-meaning woman told me yesterday, pointing to a pink-ribboned banner.
It was a fitness facility, and exercise is one of the most important parts of health care for this and most other conditions.
Exercise and sunlight for participants are the only benefits I see from 5Ks with pink shirts.
Please do not support any charities in my name. If you want to help me, and others, share the truth.
